Quirm Welcomes You!
The great city of Quirm is undoubtedly the jewel of the Sto Plains.* We are the number-one vacation and retirement spot for the Ankh Morpork elite. Our beautiful city is home to one of the finest educational institutions on the Disc, and our breathtaking floral clock is one of the wonders of the modern age, but the true glory of Quirm comes, of course, from our world famous cheeses.
The Duke and Duchess of Quirm do hereby open their city to the travelers attending the North American Discworld Convention, and invite you to join them for an evening of dining and entertainment.

*According to those who live in Quirm anyway.

Guest Tables
3 seats at Sir Terry's Table will be auctioned at the convention!

At the NADWCon 2011, during the charity auction, there will be 3 lots up for bid, each one is a seat at Sir Terry's table during the Gala Banquet. They will go to the highest bidders, and if those bidders have already bought a seat at the Gala Banquet, the cost for that ticket will be deducted from their payment.

Details:
Purchasing a Guest Table Ticket (for only $10 dollars more than a regular ticket) will put your name in a semi-random drawing to determine which of our guests you will be seated with. By "semi-random" we mean that we will take into consideration any friends you would like to be seated with that also purchased a Guest Table Ticket. Just include your friend's badge number (which can be found in our Members' list) in the space provided when you choose your entree (below). We can't promise that you and your friend will be seated with the same guest, but we are willing to see what can be done to accommodate you. An official ticket trade program will take place prior to the banquet for anyone who wishes to exchange their seat with another, but we cannot allow tickets to be traded for any monetary gain. Remember, the only ones who are supposed to be profiting from the events of this convention are the charities. The final guest seating arrangement will be made shortly before the convention begins and your seating information will be on your ticket when you pick it up upon registration.

Dining at Sir Terry's Table!
3 seats will be auctioned off during the convention.
Since Sir Terry's table is a premium location the seating of his table will be divided between a few semi-randomly picked people who purchased a Guest Table Ticket, and the remaining three seats which will be auctioned off in an event prior to the banquet. So, a few lucky people who buy a Guest Table Ticket will get to sit with Sir Terry during the banquet, and three others who buy them at the auction will also be seated as his table.

Dining With Your Friends
Though we like to think of all the Discworld fandom as our friends, it just isn't practical to seat over 300 people at one table. As a result the standard banquet table seating will be assigned by your preference as best we can. If you wish to sit with specific friends please include their badge number (which can be found in our Members' list) in the space provided when you choose your entree (below). We will do our best to seat those who request it at the same tables, but I am afraid we can't make any guarantees. If you are unhappy with your assigned seat an official ticket trade program will take place prior to the banquet for anyone who wishes to exchange their seat with another. Please bear in mind that we cannot allow tickets to be traded for any monetary gain. Remember, the only ones who are supposed to be profiting from the events of this convention are the charities. The final guest seating arrangement will be made shortly before the convention begins and your seating information will be on your ticket when you pick it up upon registration.

Important! Please Read:
All orders for banquet tickets must include a registered convention membership
Badge Name, Badge Number, and/or Email address so we can make sure the correct person gets their ticket!

Banquet tickets are non refundable, but are transferable.

Dinner Menu

Each meal will start with a selection of cheeses, bread, tea, and salad.
A cash bar will be available as well.

------------- Depleted Swamp Dragon with Untamed Grains: --------------

These little delicacies have been defused and are almost guaranteed to probably not explode. They do come stuffed with rice that has yet to be domesticated though, so don't say we didn't warn you!
aka: Cornish Game Hen:
Baked to perfection and filled with wild rice, served with asparagus, baby carrots and caramelized shallots.

------------- Definitely Not Deep Sea Blowfish: -------------

This completely not deadly fish will most certainly not cause you to swell up to the point of explosion. It contains no poisons, and is perfectly safe to eat with no side effects at all. No, really it is. We're telling you the truth. Why are you looking at us that way?
aka: Basil Crusted Walleye:
The walleye is considered one of the finest freshwater table fish and is a favorite of local anglers. The white, flaky meat has a very mild flavor that you will love. The Walleye is baked and served with warm quinoa tossed into a salad, and sundried tomato relish.

------------- C.M.O.T. Dibbler's Mini "Meat" Pies: -------------

Well, when we say "meat" we actually mean a vegetable high in iron (that's similar to meat, right?) Honestly, how surprised are you to learn that a Dibbler meat pie doesn't really contain anything that can actually be called meat? However, we have been informed by our lawyers that the name of this dish is still technically legal under a few obscure famine prevention laws, so no complaining!
aka: Grilled Vegetable and Spinach Ravioli:
Vegetarian ravioli, hand made and served with caramelized onions, roasted zucchini, pine nuts and lemon cream

------------- Listen... Um... About Your Cow: -------------

We aren't sure how to tell you this, so please have a seat. We understand that you have been looking for your cow, and we may have some bad news. This may be a little hard to swallow,... um... I mean, this is very tough... er, well its not so much tough as it is tender and juicy. Actually, forget it. Just enjoy your potato.
aka: Prime Rib of Beef: (This dish is Gluten Free)
A standing rib roast cut thick (10-12 oz) and served with a twice baked potato with white cheddar and chives and sweet onion au jus.

A selection of fine desserts will be made available after the entrees are finished.
Feel free to choose what you like.
We all hope you have a wonderful dining experience with us.

Vegan, Kosher, and other dietary options are available upon request.
